The Ventura Film Festival functions as an unrestricted genre international film festival that raises awareness for ecological concerns including woodland and marine conservation and recovery, via an annual film festival and associated activities. The Ventura Film Festival was founded in 2004 and has presented countless films, usually over 200 films each summer, and has drawn recognition from the international cinematic community. This gathering also operated as the official BluRay debut by Fox and MGM of the beloved West Side Story, which is widely considered by critics and fans to be the best musical of all time.
